How does the Musklr affiliate program work?

  1. Get Musklr, sign in, set a username.

    Download Musklr from the App Store, sign in with Apple, and set a username in your profile. New users see your name and handle, and the username is the profile they follow.

  2. Apply.

    Fill in the short form with your Musklr username and the account you post from.

  3. Get picked, get paid.

    Once approved, your name is in the app. Every new user is asked how they found Musklr and can pick you from the list. When someone who picked you buys a yearly subscription or a lifetime purchase, the commission is yours and becomes payable 60 days later.

How does a new user pick a creator in the Musklr app?

Every new user gets the first screen. Anyone who answers Instagram, TikTok or Reddit gets the next two. There is no referral code and no link to remember. The app asks.

  1. Musklr asks How did you find us? with Instagram selected among App Store, Google, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, A friend and Somewhere else

  2. Musklr asks Who did you see? and lists the Instagram creators Jan Sviland @musklrapp and Helene @helenemelbye, plus Someone else and I don't remember

    Picked. Your card is selected, with a switch to follow your Musklr profile. The switch is on by default and takes one tap to turn off.

Who counts and how you get paid

When does a Musklr referral earn a commission?

  • New accounts only. The account must be created after the person picks you, or at most 7 days before. Existing Musklr users do not count.
  • The first purchase. If the first thing a referred user buys is a yearly subscription you earn 100 kr; a lifetime purchase earns 300 kr. Renewals do not earn again.
  • Payable after 60 days. A commission becomes payable 60 days after the purchase. If the purchase is refunded before then, the commission is cancelled.
  • Always in kroner. The amount is in Norwegian kroner whatever currency the subscriber paid in. Paid by Vipps or bank transfer to a Norwegian account once the 60 days have passed.

How do I apply to the Musklr affiliate program?

The form takes two minutes: your Musklr username, the account you post from and an email address. It is a Google Form, so your answers are stored in a Google Sheet and used only to review your application. Bank or Vipps details are never asked for in the form. They are agreed by email after approval.

Yes. Your name in the app is your Musklr profile, so you need an account with a username. Sign in with Apple in the app and set the username under your profile. The account is free.

Which platforms does the Musklr affiliate program accept?

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Reddit. Today the app asks new users about Instagram, TikTok and Reddit, so a YouTube creator can apply now and is added to the app once YouTube is on that list.

Can I join the Musklr affiliate program from outside Norway?

Payment is by Vipps or transfer to a Norwegian bank account, so you need one of those. Anyone with a Norwegian account can apply, wherever they post from.

Do my followers need a code or a link to count as my Musklr referral?

No. The app asks every new user how they found Musklr and lets them pick you from a list. A link to musklr.com in your bio helps people find the app, but it is not what counts.
